Frequently asked questions

Who is Zero Strings?

We are creators, just like you!
Zero Strings was created by Dire Wolf Media, with the mission of empowering creative freedom, with zero strings attached. The First Amendment is our first priority, and we will never ban a creator for exercising their right to free speech.

Who can be a creator?

Anyone creating content of any kind. Click here to be taken to the creator application form.

How do I support a creator?

Go to any creator’s profile page and click ‘Subscribe’. You will be taken to a list of the subscription tiers they offer. To select one, click ‘Join’.
We currently only have support for PayPal, but we will be adding other payment providers as options in the future. Discover creators here.

How much money does Zero Strings take?

Zero Strings collects a 2% commission on all subscriptions. Payment Providers will also take a commission that varies based on which one a subscriber selects.

How/When do creators get paid?

On the 24th of each month we will calculate what we owe you, and will pay it out on the 27th of each month. You will receive a statement specifically detailing how much commission Zero Strings received, how much was taken out in fees by payment providers, and how much was deposited into your account.
Currently we are only able to payout via PayPal, but we will be adding more options in the future.

How do I cancel a subscription?

PayPal subscriptions can be canceled by logging into your account, clicking ‘settings’ (a gear icon in the top right on desktop), selecting ‘payments’, and then clicking ‘Manage automatic payments’. You will see a list of all your active subscriptions and have to option to ‘cancel’ them. To make sure you are canceling the correct one, check the ‘description’ field of each subscription to see which creator it is for. Having trouble?
